1.magic wand-lets you select an area wit similar pixels 

2.quick select- you are able to select different sections and also select the same pixels

3.rectangular/elliptical marque- It allows you to select a square or a circle area.

4.lasso-it allows to make free hand selections

5.magnetic lasso-A selection tool where it connects to corners and edges and creates a select around the lasso 

6.polygon lasso-only to make straight lines on selected area
